Do I need to put a customs label on my package?

If you're sending an item outside the EU, or to the Channel Islands, Andorra, the Canary Islands, Gibraltar, San Marino or the Vatican City State, then you will need to fill in and attach a Customs Declaration Form to your parcel. If the item is up to £270 in value then you will need a CN22 form. If the value is over £270 then you will need a CN23 form.

If you're not sure which countries need a Customs Declaration, you can check here for more details.

If your buyer asks you to mark the item as a gift or to falsify the customs form by declaring the item to be a lower value, then please don't be tempted to do this as you can get in trouble for customs fraud.
