Why doesn't markdown manager include all the items I want it to?

Sales are a great ways of driving traffic to your shop, and you can do this with Markdown Manager. You can reduce items by a set amount, or a percentage off. The most common reason that items don't show up in your sale under Markdown Manager is due to a legal requirement that items must have been available at the pre-sale price for at least 28 days before they can be put on sale.

So realistically you can only put items that are listed as 'Good Till Cancelled' in a sale using Markdown Manager. Also, if you revise the cost of the item or the P&P price, then the item will be removed from the sale.
